Kimchi and uttapam seem like they have nothing in common. One pungent and bold, the other savory and soft. But together, they’re surprising, familiar, and joyful.

I bring together worlds that don’t seem to fit and find what’s wonderful in the mix. My stories follow characters who move between different communities in the United States, shaped by my own experience navigating first- and second-generation American dynamics, Asian and American identities, womanhood in male-dominated spaces, and the pull between technical and artistic life in Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
